WHAT IS INTEGRITY & GRACE?
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:29-30 (MSG)
We intentionally chose this guiding scripture from Matthew, because when people ask WHAT the Integrity & Grace Ministry is? The simple answer is; it is learning to find REST in Jesus. It is…
- Walking, hand-in-hand with Him, as He makes our minds and bodies stronger.
- An intentional Spirit, Soul and Body practice of our faith-like a “moving” Bible study.
- An intentional Spirit, Soul and Body practice in the Presence of God, who has promised throughout all of scripture, to always be with us.
- A promise God has been ever so faithful to in the life of Jesus Christ and a promise that God has for all of His beloved people.
- A promise that God has in store for everyone (YOU)…to be healthy, healed and whole. Completely set-free in Him!
At its core, Integrity & Grace is Kingdom focused and missional. Exercise is simply our secondary, God-ordained tool. The essence of our ministry is about inviting God into the journey of our health and wellness; Spirit-Soul-Body, through His Divine Word, Authentic Worship and Reverent Prayer. Simultaneously, we also use strengthening postures and corrective exercises, united with our breath, for overall restoration from deep within. Complete healing for the Spirit, Soul and Body is our ultimate goal.
Some may find the practice of Integrity & Grace to be a time of Prayer-while digging deeper into God’s Word, for others it is a time of Worship, and yet for others the articulate Physical Practice-based on barefoot, functional training-brings them to a place of alert calmness. A divine place where they can be still, intentionally carve out time to hear God’s voice and experience His loving Presence, in the midst of busy lives. We have found that every participant describes it using different verbiage, depending on what part resonates most with what their Body and Soul needs.
“This meditative scripture in Matthew reminds us that the REST that Jesus offers us is a quiet strength and companionship that helps us to continue moving forward without burning out physically, mentally or emotionally.” –Joyce Meyer
