WHY WE NEED JESUS
The Spiritual Component of the Integrity & Grace Method is solidly built on Gods Divine Word-the Bible, Worship and Prayer. In EVERY class you will find a balanced combination of these vital components of a precise and solid faith building program.
“Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized-whoever. I didn’t take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ-but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I’ve become just about every sort of servant there is, in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I did all this because of the Message. I didn’t just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it!” 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (MSG)
“We are a kingdom focused ministry that uses exercise-for the Spirit, Soul and Body-as our tool. It’s true that everyone truly does need exercise in his/her life…but unfortunately that debate will continue on forever and we are not here to prove or disprove it. However, there is no debate in the truthful fact that EVERYONE needs Jesus” -Integrity & Grace
At its core, Integrity and Grace is missional. It is a ministry committed to serving the Body of Christ, and to sharing the Good News of the Gospel to all who have ears to hear. As Integrity & Grace missionaries, we share a gift with our students that is both 100% solid in biblical foundation and 100% solid in physical foundation. The practice brings us closer to our Savior, and we pray, brings our participants continued wholeness and peace in their lives. We overflow with love for Him and for this opportunity He has divinely created, and give Him all of the glory, honor and praise.
WHY WE NEED EXERCISE
The Physical Component of the Integrity & Grace Method is solidly built on the Science of Functional, Restorative-Corrective Exercise. In EVERY class you will find a balanced combination of these vital components of a precise and solid exercise program.
Dynamic Warm Up: A series of specific program movements that are designed to prepare the muscles for performance and are performed in a safe and controlled fashion.
Flexibility Training: Physical training of the body that integrates various stretches (dynamic and static) in all three planes of motion in order to produce the maximum extensibility of tissues.
Cardio-Respiratory Training: Any physical activity that involves and places stress on the cardio-respiratory system.
Strength Training: A method of improving muscular strength by gradually increasing the ability to resist force through the use of external resistance or body weight exercises.
Core Training: Training the central section of the body consisting of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, pelvic girdle and hip joint, and all of the muscles that attach to these specific areas.
Balance Training: The ability to maintain the body’s position over its base of support within stability limits, both statically and dynamically.
Power-Reactive Training: The ability to exert maximal force in the shortest period of time. Using quick, powerful movement involving an eccentric contraction, followed immediately by an explosive concentric contraction.
Body Weight Resistance Training: Any form of exercise that causes the muscles to contract against an external resistance with the expectation of increases in strength, tone, mass and/or endurance.
Cool Down: Any form of exercise, done after a more intense set of activities to allow the body to regulate and gradually transition to a resting or near-resting state.
Relaxation: Any method, process, procedure, or activity that helps a person to relax; to attain a state of increased calmness and reduce levels of pain, anxiety, stress and anger.
