The Keys to Freedom

The path: The narrow path that leads us to the Kingdom.
The key: A symbol that represents one of many keys we will receive along our journey.
The mountains: The earth’s terrain…it is jagged, it is full of valleys and mountaintops.
The northern lights: Represents the beauty and glory of heaven; the beauty causes us to keep our gaze heavenward.
Holy and Whole; Spirit-Soul-Body
May God Himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, put you together. Spirit, soul and body – and keep you fit for the coming of our master, Jesus Christ.
~1 Thessalonians 5:23
The girl: Represents the bride of Christ awaiting the arrival of her King.
The sun: A symbol of THE SON, coming on the clouds in all His glory, as bright as the son.
The fields: This is where the bride has labored and produced crop and fruit. It is here where she discovered how His Spirit remained with her, preparing her to be united with Him again.
The mountains: Representing our varying circumstances in life; highs and lows. Whether she stands in a valley or on the mountain top…she awaits her King and praises Him above all else.
Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
For you formed my inward parts; you wove me in my Mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it very well.

The fingerprints: There are two. It requires two unique individuals to bring forth life.
The baby: At the center of a heart, this child was created in love.
The ball of yarn: A symbol of the intentional design. It is attached the finger prints. Being knit together is a part of the process of two becoming one and then creating new life.
Temple of the Holy Spirit
Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God with your body.
~1 Corinthians 6:19-20
The oil lamp: A symbol of our bodies; broken and made whole again. The vessel which holds our hearts and produces evidence of the Spirit. The oil within represents the Spirit within us.
The flames: The evidence of the Holy Spirit within us, which keeps our fire going.
Renewing of the Mind
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is which is good and acceptable and perfect.
~Romans 12:1-2
The brain: Depicts our mind.
Green circle: The emerald rainbow in Revelation. In my artwork it represents infinite grace which is what allows for our renewal.
The butterflies: Symbolize the process of transformation; it takes time and each season looks different.
The Redemptive Blood of Jesus
We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Because He bled and died our sins have been forgiven. We have been set-free because God’s grace is so rich.
~Ephesians 1:7
The cage: Represents that we once were bound and held hostage in darkness.
The birds: Blue like the living water, have chosen to fly from the cage and into the glory light.
The red circle: Symbolizes the blood of Christ, infinite like His grace, covers our sins.
The open door: The cage door is opened because of what Christ has already done.
